Theme explores Baptism.  NEXT SATURDAY: A Memorial Service for long-time Keystone Member Shiela Gustafson will be held Saturday, Jan. 9 at 2pm. Reception to follow. N                                            2pm; Reception to follow ** See below for details on these, and other events related to life in our community ** Climate Conversations As a followup to last Sunday's sermon please have at least one climate conversation this week and share the results after this Sunday's service. You might start out being honestly curious and ask "What are you most concerned about?" Then slowly tie how climate change will worsen their concern. But do that slowly so they don't feel that your agenda is to talk about climate change and not to listen to their concerns. It is perfectly fine to wait until a second conversation until climate change is mentioned. We can all put our heads together to plan how to introduce it in the next conversation. Let's all agree to be social radicals and break the taboo of talking about climate change for fear of bringing up negative emotions. – Rich Voget Service of Remembrance   Compass Housing Alliance invites you to a Service of Remembrance on Friday, Jan. 8, 4pm at The Church of Steadfast Love, 210 Alaskan Way S., under the viaduct Seattle During the Service of Remembrance, everyone will take the time to look back in memory of those who have died, so that they might not be forgotten. Pastoral Care & Keystone UCC Hours: Rich and Lauren can be reached at the Keystone office: (206) 632-6021.  This phone is also checked remotely since both Rich and Lauren serve half-time. Mondays:  the church office is closed.  Mondays are the day that Rich and Lauren take Sabbath. So while there are several groups that meet throughout the day and evening at Keystone, it may take a day for someone to get back to you, if you call on a Monday. Pastor Rich is available Tuesday to Thursday mornings and Friday evenings, and holds additional office times on Saturdays and Sundays.  Not all of these times will Rich be in the church office. If you want to see him, it is best to make an appointment.
