Solidarity through Storytelling Workshop- April 15 evening

Solidarity Through StoryTelling Workshop

Learn How to Tell Stories, While Learning About One Another

Wednesday eve, April 15, in Keystone's on-line space

What's your story?

Greetings,

For those of you intending to participate in the storytelling workshop on Wednesday, we will open the space at 6:15, and the stories will be 6:30 - 7 p.m. plus some discussion time afterwards. If you could use the info to access the space, or you might like to share a story, call the church (206.632.6021) or email keystone5019@gmail.com to get added to the list of storytellers.

I had given a guideline of 7 minutes for the length of the story and asked storytellers to practice theirs to see that their story was within the 7 minute time frame. That is part of the process. If you’ve done that, then feel free to add 3 minutes of details to enhance the story with descriptions. This will provide a 10 minute time frame to tell the story. It may sound like a lot of time but 10 minutes goes quickly when we start sharing a story.

We have two storytellers signed up. We still have room for one more for this Wednesday. If we more than 3 we will extend to next week. If you would rather just listen to the stories and perhaps share in the conversation afterwards that’s fine. Every storyteller needs listeners.

The theme is “lessons learned from childhood sickness or injury.” It can be about an illness or injury that happened to you or to your child or grandchild or to the child of someone you know. I look forward to hearing your stories.

Creating Prayers

Keystone's youngest members spent Holy Week doing some of our "Holy Week @ Home" activities, which included making prayers flags that fly with our hopes and good energy for the world. Here's a glimpse of Blake and Archer using their Easter egg dyes to create their flags.

This invite extends to all ages, so as you get crafty & creative @ home with Keystone... feel free to post a picture to our Keystone FaceBook page (click button below)

Craft:  Prayer Flags - from fabric scraps you have @ home.

Your handiwork on something beautiful, can also offer more and more positive energy to those around you!

Or work on your flags while listening to Wednesday eve stories!
