SUNDAY SCHEDULE: Our Sundays together begin with Sunday School and Storytime with Teacher Anita at 10 a.m. Children and their families spend 20 minutes in a Zoom breakout room with Anita, then return to the main Zoom space, where worship starts with music at 10:30 a.m. Also at 10 a.m., folks can hang out for a "Bring Your Own Coffee ☕ (half) hour" where we have some time to see each other and talk before worship. After worship, we'll also have about 15 minutes for connection and sharing together in breakout rooms.

Our prayers continue to surround:
Sandie with nourishing rest as she has returned home from Swedish Ballard and First Hill ICU.
Nell as she adjusts to life at Nathan & Ruths’s.
Dave, as he continues his speedy recovery from 2 blood clots.
And we continue to hold all our scholars in these weeks as they complete their school years!
Our prayers also keep going out:
- For leaders who follow the model of Jesus by responding to violence with peace, and for their courage and diligence in the work to change this nation.
- For Keystone, for the peace and love this community shares.
- For love and healing for those among us who are ill.
- For those who are still recovering from illnesses and injury.
- For police officers and law enforcement agents caught within an unjust system, may they have the courage to do what is right and stand up to those who are doing wrong.
Holy God ... hear our prayers!
These prayers are crafted to carry those shared in worship to our whole community, in the general spirit in which they were given. We also especially welcome you to send Rev. Lauren a note with a prayer request before worship, and we can incorporate it into our online worship (if you may not be up for voicing it). We are also always glad for you to add your prayers to the Zoom chat box during live worship, and we can fold them in to the spoken prayers. All prayers are welcome, at any time. Keystone Takes Part in Anti-Racism Actions
As we Stay Home & Stay Safe to protect our most vulnerable from Covid-19, we also find some of us can get creative to mask up and hit the streets to join Black Lives Matter.
Pastor Lauren, Mike, and Leo got to experiment with one way of joining their public school community and neighbors, by offering a bit of distance and bike riding their solidarity on Sunday at the “We Want to Live” rally (read more about that rally here). Pastor Yuki and Clint also masked up to join a protest and march in Bremerton (read about that here. Pastor Yuki took this photo at the Bremerton march). Some of us on Monday participated in 8 minutes and 46 seconds silence, the length of time that the police officer knelt on George Floyd's neck, with the Washington state Poor People's Campaign, and promised to recommit to the many and varied ways we will all be at work -- on an ongoing basis in a much deeper dive of anti-racism commitments -- and doing whatever it takes.You can find a couple resources, as you look to add to your own engagement, on anti-racism, at https://convergenceus.org/whiteness-resources/?inf_contact_key=0f53a282e7d3a35ef4dbdcf2c82ef1d8d18a532c4142cb79caf2b269de1401fa and also at http://bit.ly/ANTIRACISMRESOURCES.
Seattle has daily and nightly opportunities especially for some of us faithful folks of white privilege to organize for black lives, based on relationships we have been building for years. More Ways You Can Support the Movement for Black Lives
Going into the streets isn't an option for everyone, even if the risk of contracting Covid-19 wasn't still a possibility. Here are a few ways you can Take 5 for Advocacy in the Movement for Black Lives
Add your name: You can e-sign this petition to ask Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear to investigate the shooting death of Breonna Taylor, who was killed by law enforcement while she was asleep in her home.
Donate: You can add your support to organizations and collectives fighting for racial justice on the ground, including the Black Visions Collective.
Learn: Black Lives Matter-Seattle is calling for a general strike on Friday, June 13. This will be held in conjunction with a silent march to honor and mourn the lives lost to police brutality and institutional racism. For those who can't attend the march, BLM-Seattle suggests, "take this time as an opportunity to familiarize yourself with your local elected officials. This includes your mayor, city council, county executive, county council, county prosecutor, and state representatives. It helps if you collaborate with friends and neighbors, and reach out to people you know who are more familiar with the local issues. It’s up to you to make sure your local officials feel the pressure to improve police accountability and dismantle the structural racism that has been built into all of our institutions." |

FAN to Hold 2nd Spring Summit
The Faith Action Network will host a second online Spring Summit for Puget Sound members on Tuesday, June 23, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (the first Puget Sound Summit on June 7 reached Zoom's 100-person meeting capacity before everyone who wanted to attend could sign up). FAN’s advocating faith communities across Washington State will come together to strategize on statewide advocacy and talk about local issues affecting our communities, as well as COVID-19. Celebrating our Graduate!
After worship on Sunday, June 7, we celebrated Paisley Maschmeier, who is part of the Class of 2020 graduates from Roosevelt High School! Keystone participants brought signs and good wishes to share with Paisley during our celebration, and got to hear about her plans for the future.
Paisley's graduation will be June 18 from 8:30-9:45 p.m., and will be broadcast online on Roosevelt High's YouTube page (link to come in next week's newsletter), and also shown on Seattle Public Schools TV beginning June 20 on Comcast 26 (standard-def) 319 (hi-def), Wave 26 (standard-def) 695 (hi-def) and Century Link 8008 (standard-def) 8508 (hi-def).
We celebrate all of Paisley’s incredible accomplishments, including her leadership in environmental justice both at school and with church, and her acceptance to University of Washington!

Keystone Tells Stories: TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m.
Come gather around our virtual dinner table for Keystone's Wednesday Story Night! We're continuing to tell stories along the theme of "A Small Thing That Made a Big Difference in My Life." Tonight's storyteller is Yuki Schwartz.
The storytelling space opens up at 6:15 p.m., and storytelling will start at 6:30 p.m., in the same Zoom space we use on Sunday mornings and for our other gatherings (you'll find a Zoom cheat sheet coming along with this newsletter in your email, but if you have Sunday's emailed cheat sheet you can use that too!). Come for stories and conversation about the small things that changed you in a big way! |

Pastor Rich is available Tuesday to Thursday mornings and Friday evenings, and holds additional office times on Saturdays and Sundays. (Sabbath = Mondays.)
